A Tropical Murder Mystery, Drinks, and More!
Every year, the city of Kawela Bay holds a luau in honor of Kupua Pele, the goddess of volcanoes, fire, and lightning. The luau welcomes any and all who want to honor Pele and her great contributions to Hawaii. The people of Kawela Bay were forced to stop celebrating this amazing day, and the tradition soon died out. Many celebrated in secret to keep Pele’s name alive. Some say Pele seeks revenge for those responsible for her suppression. With the city coming together once again, they plan to bring the annual luau back. Natives believe Pele will finally get her revenge unless everything goes well. So, prepare your leis and put on your hula skirts for the annual Pele Luau!
Ready for a fun interactive murder mystery? Join us for a night of libations, good fun, and murder mystery. You’ll have such an amazing time that you will never forget. We will gather at The Jury Room, a local speakeasy where the most devious of characters go to spread the juiciest of the town’s gossip. This night will be filled with mystery, deceit, and murder. Who will the killer be? That is up to you to figure out, or at least who to pin it on before the police arrive.
General Admission – $40 / Person
We must inform our venue of the final headcount by 2 PM the day before the event. Don’t wait last minute to get your tickets and make your reservation. We will not take any more reservations after 2 PM 8/23/24.
Is this a Murder Mystery Dinner?
No, this is a cocktails-only event. With it only being a 2-hour event there is no meal planned as the mystery will take the entire time. We encourage you to grab a meal prior to the event at the nearby Dempsy’s Food & Spirits. Grab a bite to eat then walk on over to our event at Dempsy’s Jury Room.
Don’t expect mystery dinner theater. This is a social game where participants attending the mystery dinner will work together to solve a murder. You will work as a team, collecting points by solving clues, bribing your way to success, and correctly solving all crimes and mysteries. Along the way, you may also experience some hidden mystery games. Bring your friends, your family, heck, bring your worst enemy, and become friends again by the end of the night. We are sure you will have the most fun you have had in a while. We hope we will even become a traditional event for you to attend.
All seating is first come first serve. There may not be enough seating for all participants. This is a stand up and mingle event anyway. We do not do assigned seating. We suggest arriving early to ensure you can sit together with your group if you wish to have seats.
