The Jury Room Events

Welcome to Murder & Cocktails, an immersive cocktail event located at The Historic Jury Room.  The Jury Room is Columbus' oldest bar.  According to local lore, the space that occupies 22 East Mound street has had many incarnations since it was built in 1831 and has stood watch as Columbus grew. Located in the River South district in Downtown Columbus, it’s been a stagecoach stop, a hotel for visiting judges hearing cases at the county courthouse across the street, a bar and restaurant, and even a bordello in the 1850s.

When it became The Jury Room in the mid-20th century it kept its tradition of being a favorite watering hole for judges, attorneys, and people from all walks of life to meet and discuss the issues of the day. In recent years the space has been home to a few different bars and restaurants but, at its heart, it’s always been The Jury Room to those of us from Columbus with far-reaching memories.

Murder & Cocktails hosted by A Murder Mystery Dinner is an immersive mystery experience where guests are placed into a story of mystery, deceit, and murder!  work through the night to discover who everyone is, who may have the motive to kill, and eventually uncover a murderer in your midst.  Rated Columbus Ohio's best whodunnit you are sure to have the time of your life.
