December is peak visitor season on Oahu, which makes it the most expensive and most booked-out month of the year for venues. A local company's holiday party is a small fish in that pond.
1. A hosted murder mystery at your own venue
Ours, and first because it removes you from peak-season competition altogether. We come to your office or a room you already have.
It also gets people out of their own departments.
2. A beach park pavilion event
Cheap, local and genuinely pleasant in December. Reserve early — permits go months ahead.
3. A restaurant buyout
Peak-season pricing. Book by August rather than September here.
4. A hotel ballroom
Plentiful and priced for visitors. Impressive and expensive.
5. A daytime lunch
Far better attended given island traffic, and considerably cheaper.
6. A potluck at the office with something planned
Genuinely normal here and staff often prefer it. It needs a plan.
7. A boat charter
Memorable and contained. Peak-season rates and nobody can leave.
8. A cooking class
Good for twenty to thirty and reliably indoors.
9. Charitable giving instead of an event
Very well received here. Not a party by itself.
Timing
Book earlier than you would on the mainland — August for December. We ask for about 45 days, so early October is the last practical call.
If you would rather not compete with peak tourist season for a room, We bring the host, the storyline and every piece of the game to your venue, and we ask for about 45 days so it can be staffed and prepared properly. Pricing and availability shows what your guest count works out to, you can book a date directly, and the contact page reaches a person if you would rather talk it through first.
