Company Holiday Party Ideas in Denver (9 to Consider)

Nine holiday party ideas for Denver offices, with the weather and booking realities that decide attendance.

The Denver skyline

Two Denver-specific things shape a December office party. Snow can close I-70 and make a mountain venue a genuine risk, and a meaningful share of your staff will take the whole of the last two weeks of December to ski. The window is narrow and the weather has a vote.

Nine options, and what each costs you.

1. A hosted murder mystery at your own venue

Ours, and first because it is weather-proof and venue-proof. We come to your office or a room you already have, so a snow day does not cancel your party and you are not competing for a restaurant in its busiest fortnight.

It also stops the thing that makes office parties flat, which is everyone sitting with their own team.

2. A restaurant buyout

The default. Book by September for December; the good private rooms downtown go by late October. Priced per head and the bar is where it climbs.

3. A brewery or distillery buyout

Denver's best-value option and there are many. Relaxed, and non-drinkers need thinking about.

4. A hotel ballroom

Right above a couple of hundred people and overkill below it. Expensive, and big enough that the room fragments.

5. A mountain venue

Beautiful, memorable, and a real gamble in December. If you do it, have a plan for what happens when the pass closes.

6. A daytime lunch

Better attended and cheaper, particularly with staff spread from Boulder to Castle Rock. Over in ninety minutes.

7. An ice skating outing

Skyline Park is central and cheap. An hour of activity, weather-dependent, and it excludes some staff physically.

8. A cooking or cocktail class

Good for twenty to thirty, and the task covers the opening half hour.

9. Charitable giving instead of a party

Well received. Worthwhile, and not an event on its own.

The timing

Settle December by the end of September. We need about 45 days, so early October is the practical deadline — and aim for the first two weeks of the month, before the ski exodus starts.

If you want a party that a snowstorm cannot cancel, We bring the host, the storyline and every piece of the game to your venue, and we ask for about 45 days so it can be staffed and prepared properly. Pricing and availability shows what your guest count works out to, you can book a date directly, and the contact page reaches a person if you would rather talk it through first.
