Memphis is one of the cheaper cities in the country to host a company party, which gives you more options than most. The complication is scheduling — with a logistics and healthcare-heavy workforce, one evening date will always exclude somebody.
Nine options and their trade-offs.
1. A hosted murder mystery at your own venue
Ours, and first because we come to you at a time that fits your rota rather than a restaurant's. Some companies run it twice on the same day to catch two shifts.
It also gets people out of their own departments.
2. A restaurant buyout
Good value here. Book by September for December.
3. A hotel ballroom
Right for a few hundred people and downtown has capacity at sensible rates.
4. A barbecue catered in
Underrated and very Memphis. Cheap, popular, and it works in your own space.
5. A historic or music venue
Memphis has some genuinely special buildings. Long lead times and strict rules.
6. A daytime lunch
Better attended, cheaper, and it fits more shift patterns than an evening.
7. A Grizzlies game
Easy and popular. Everyone faces the same way for three hours.
8. A cooking or cocktail class
Good for twenty to thirty and reliably indoors.
9. Charitable giving instead of an event
Well received in this city. Not a party by itself.
Timing
Settle December by the end of September. We ask for about 45 days, so early October is the practical deadline.
If one evening date will always exclude part of your team, We bring the host, the storyline and every piece of the game to your venue, and we ask for about 45 days so it can be staffed and prepared properly. Pricing and availability shows what your guest count works out to, you can book a date directly, and the contact page reaches a person if you would rather talk it through first.
