Corpus Christi is a natural reunion destination for Texas families — a beach, affordable rentals, and easy driving from San Antonio, Houston and the Valley. The catch is summer, when the humidity makes the beach hard work for older relatives.
1. A hosted murder mystery
Ours, and first because it is the evening that includes everybody — indoors, air-conditioned, no walking, and equally playable for a twelve-year-old and an eighty-year-old.
We come to the rental house, which here is usually large enough to be ideal.
2. A beach day, planned properly
Go early, take shade, and pick a quieter stretch. Wind is constant — weigh everything down.
3. A cookout at the rental house
The practical centre of most coastal reunions and the best value part of the week.
4. The aquarium or the USS Lexington
Indoors, air-conditioned and holds a wide age range. The Lexington is a genuine draw for older relatives.
5. A bay cruise or dolphin trip
Everyone together for a couple of hours and children remember it. Nobody can leave.
6. A big group dinner in a private room
Worth doing once and inexpensive here. Choose somewhere with parking.
7. A family quiz or talent show
Free, and usually the older generation's favourite. Someone has to run it.
If you want one evening at the rental house that includes everybody, We bring the host, the storyline and every piece of the game to your venue, and we ask for about 45 days so it can be staffed and prepared properly. Pricing and availability shows what your guest count works out to, you can book a date directly, and the contact page reaches a person if you would rather talk it through first.
