Laredo is the busiest inland port in the country and its economy runs on cross-border trade. That means a lot of round-the-clock logistics work, a genuinely bilingual workforce, and summers that regularly pass a hundred and five.
1. A hosted murder mystery at your own office or venue
Ours, and first because we come to you at whatever hour fits the operation, indoors and air-conditioned. For a logistics team that is often the only workable format.
Everyone gets a character and a motive, and it needs no preparation from anyone.
2. A cooking or food event
The food culture here is genuinely distinctive and it is common ground for everybody. Twelve to twenty-five, indoors.
3. An escape room
Indoors, good for six to eight, and it fragments above that.
4. A day at Lake Casa Blanca
Close, cheap and a genuine change of scene. October to April; a summer afternoon is not realistic.
5. A brewery or taproom event
A small scene at low prices. Non-drinkers need thought.
6. A Tecolotes game
Genuinely binational and a real local institution. Everyone faces the same direction.
7. A downtown historic walk
More history here than most people realise. A listening activity and hot most of the year.
8. Volunteering
Well received in this community. Parallel work rather than shared work.
The Laredo planning note
Ask about shifts before anything else — the port does not stop, and a single evening date will exclude a large part of the workforce. And treat May to September as indoor season without exception.
If the port never stops and one evening date never suits everybody, We bring the host, the storyline and every piece of the game to your venue, and we ask for about 45 days so it can be staffed and prepared properly. Pricing and availability shows what your guest count works out to, you can book a date directly, and the contact page reaches a person if you would rather talk it through first.
