Saint Paul has a different working culture to Minneapolis across the river — more state government, more healthcare, more long-established institutions with settled teams. And the same five months of winter, which decides half the year for you.
1. A hosted murder mystery at your own office or venue
Ours, and first because January and February are when a team most needs something and has the fewest options. We come to your office and nobody goes out in it.
Everyone gets a character and a motive, and no preparation is asked of anyone.
2. An escape room
Indoors, which is half the argument here, and good for six to eight.
3. A brewery buyout
Saint Paul's own scene is smaller than Minneapolis's but good and better value. Non-drinkers need thought.
4. A Wild game
Downtown, indoors and genuinely popular. Three hours facing the same direction.
5. A cooking class
Good for twelve to twenty-five and indoors. Priced per head.
6. A day along the river or at Como Park
Genuinely lovely for four months of the year, and free. Entirely seasonal.
7. A curling outing
Very much a local thing, indoors, and it works because nobody is good at it. Limited capacity in season.
8. Volunteering
Very well received in this city. Parallel work rather than shared work.
The Saint Paul planning note
Summer books out early because the season is short. Winter is wide open, cheaper, and is when it does most good. And if staff are spread across both cities, remember that crossing the river at five o'clock is slower than the map suggests.
If you want something that works in February as well as it does in July, We bring the host, the storyline and every piece of the game to your venue, and we ask for about 45 days so it can be staffed and prepared properly. Pricing and availability shows what your guest count works out to, you can book a date directly, and the contact page reaches a person if you would rather talk it through first.
