Stockton's economy runs on agriculture, logistics and healthcare, with a significant share of the workforce commuting to the Bay Area. That last group is the one your event has to accommodate — they are already spending three hours a day travelling.
1. A hosted murder mystery at your own office or venue
Ours, and first because we come to you, so nobody adds a journey to a day that already has too much of one in it.
Everyone gets a character and a motive, indoors and air-conditioned, in about two hours.
2. A delta day
The Sacramento-San Joaquin Delta is genuinely distinctive and right on the doorstep. Boating or a waterfront afternoon is a real change of scene.
3. An escape room
Indoors, good for six to eight, and it fragments above that.
4. A cooking class
Good for twelve to twenty-five and indoors, and the Valley produce is genuinely excellent.
5. A Ports game
Cheap, central and pleasant in spring. Everyone faces the same direction.
6. A brewery or taproom buyout
A small scene at very fair prices. Non-drinkers need thought.
7. A day in the foothills or wine country
Lodi is fifteen minutes away and genuinely good. A half-day, and it needs transport arranged.
8. Volunteering
Well received. Parallel work rather than shared work.
The Stockton planning note
If part of your team commutes to the Bay, an evening event is asking a great deal. Afternoon or lunchtime will always out-attend it. And treat June to September as indoor season — Valley heat is not to be argued with.
If part of your team already spends three hours a day commuting, We bring the host, the storyline and every piece of the game to your venue, and we ask for about 45 days so it can be staffed and prepared properly. Pricing and availability shows what your guest count works out to, you can book a date directly, and the contact page reaches a person if you would rather talk it through first.
