Norfolk is a navy town first and everything else second, which shapes the workforce more than any other single fact. Deployments, duty rotations and shift patterns mean a single evening date will always exclude somebody — and the tunnels mean the venue is a logistics decision.
1. A hosted murder mystery at your own office or venue
Ours, and first because we come to you at a time that fits the rota, including daytime. Some employers run it twice in one day to cover two shifts.
Everyone gets a character and a motive, indoors, in about two hours.
2. A waterfront or harbour outing
Genuinely distinctive and the harbour is working, not decorative, which makes it interesting. Weather-dependent.
3. An escape room
Indoors, good for six to eight, and it fragments above that.
4. A brewery buyout
A good scene in Ghent and downtown at fair prices. Non-drinkers need thought.
5. A cooking class
Good for twelve to twenty-five and reliably indoors.
6. A Tides game
Harbor Park is genuinely one of the nicest minor league grounds in the country. Everyone faces the same direction.
7. A museum or Nauticus visit
The battleship is a real draw and means something in this city. People wander.
8. Volunteering
Very well received in this community. Parallel work rather than shared work.
The Hampton Roads planning note
The tunnels decide everything. A fifteen-mile trip can take an hour at the wrong time, and that should drive your venue choice ahead of anything else. Ask about duty schedules before fixing a date.
If the tunnels and the duty roster decide who turns up, We bring the host, the storyline and every piece of the game to your venue, and we ask for about 45 days so it can be staffed and prepared properly. Pricing and availability shows what your guest count works out to, you can book a date directly, and the contact page reaches a person if you would rather talk it through first.
