The obvious Scottsdale answer, and it suits the people who already play. It excludes everyone else and takes most of a day.
3. An escape room
Indoors, good for six to eight, and it fragments above that.
4. A cooking class
Good for twelve to twenty-five and reliably indoors. Priced per head.
5. A desert jeep or hiking morning
Genuinely spectacular and only realistic October to April. It self-selects.
6. A resort spa or wellness day
Popular and expensive, and it is a parallel activity rather than a shared one.
7. Old Town Scottsdale evening
Easy and central. It becomes a drinking activity that splits into groups.
8. Volunteering
Well received. Parallel work rather than shared work.

May to September is indoor-only, and January to April is peak season when resort pricing is at its highest and availability at its lowest. The shoulder months — October, November, May — are where the value is.
