A fundraiser people look forward to
Sell tickets to an evening your supporters actually want to attend, and let us run the entertainment while you concentrate on raising the money.
The hard part of a fundraiser is not the asking. It is getting people through the door a second time. A gala dinner is a fine thing once; the same gala dinner next year is a diary conflict.
A murder mystery gives people a reason to come that is not obligation. There is something actually happening in the room — suspects to question, a case to argue about — so the people who came because they support you end up staying because they are enjoying themselves.
How it fits a fundraising evening
The game runs 90 to 120 minutes around a meal, which leaves room either side for the parts you actually need — a welcome, a speech, an auction, a raffle, a pitch. We work to your running order rather than the other way round. Tell us where your appeal sits in the evening and we will build the game around it.
You sell the tickets
You set the price and keep what you raise. Our cost is the package, fixed and known up front.
Fits your run of show
Speeches, auctions and appeals sit inside the evening, not against it.
Priced by band
Cost is set by guest count band, so a strong ticket night does not cost you more.
The maths is straightforward
Your cost is a fixed package based on how many people are coming — not a per-head charge. That means the better your ticket sales, the better the night works out, and you know your entertainment cost before you sell a single seat. There is no travel charge added to the quote regardless of where you are.
Who it works for
- Schools and PTAs — an adult evening that parents will book a sitter for.
- Churches and community groups — a social night that raises money without feeling like a collection.
- Charities and nonprofits — something to put in front of donors that is not another dinner.
- Clubs and societies — an annual event people renew for.
If you are choosing a theme, pick for your audience rather than for yourself. We are happy to tell you which of the twenty-plus themes tend to work with a broad crowd.
We ask for 45 days' notice, which for a ticketed event you will want anyway — you need the runway to sell.
Questions people ask
How do we make money on it?
You sell the tickets and set the price; your cost to us is a fixed package based on guest count, not a per-person charge. You know the entertainment cost before you sell a seat, and a strong ticket night does not cost you more.
Can we still do speeches and an auction?
Yes. The game runs 90 to 120 minutes around a meal and we build it around your running order. Tell us where the appeal, the speeches and the auction sit and we will work to that.
Do you take a share of what we raise?
No. Our cost is the package for your guest count. What you raise is yours.
Which theme should we pick for a mixed audience?
Choose for your crowd rather than your own taste. There are over twenty themes and we will happily tell you which ones tend to work with a broad, mixed-age adult audience.
How far ahead do we need to book?
Forty-five days minimum, and realistically you want longer than that for a ticketed event so you have time to sell.
